Karissa Cutler is a Board Certified Clinical Nutritionist. She received her Bachelors of Science in Nutrition in 2013, and went on to complete postgraduate education through CNCB in order to sit for her board exam. She believes in evidence-based healthcare, where each of her patients receives individualized care based on their needs. Karissa works with her patients to find the root cause of their disease, and helps them heal from the inside out. Her approach to care focuses on the whole person, and digging into diet, lifestyle, mental healing, and genetic expression.
Karissa’s passion is to teach her clients how to use food as medicine. By using the Galyardt Method of comprehensive lab testing, symptom expression, past history, and lifestyle data, Karissa aims to create individualized care plans to help each patient in their journey to optimal health.
Since completing her degree in 2013 Karissa has focused on learning more about gut health, hormones, and the mind body connection in order to give her patients the care that they deserve. She has spent the last 8 years working as a functional nutritionist, and has truly fallen in love with watching her patients become the best versions of themselves.
Outside of work Karissa is a mother of two and a wife. She loves to be outdoors, read, dance, travel, and spend as much time as possible with the amazing community of people she has around her. She plans to continue her education, and to keep learning throughout her lifetime.
