Dr. Sherrie Papa graduated cum laude from Southern California University of Health Sciences with a Doctor of Chiropractic degree in 2001. She ran a chiropractic and hyperbaric therapy office in Southern California until moving to middle Tennessee in 2019 where she has been serving patients in an integrated health office.
Growing up in Miami, Sherrie took an early interest in holistic healthcare and was inspired by her own childhood chiropractor at twelve years old. It was then she decided she wanted to pursue a career in chiropractic. Dr. Sherrie feels blessed to be in a profession where she can make a difference in people’s lives everyday, helping and teaching people how to access their own healing potential.
She is well known in the athletic community for her expertise in treating athletic injuries, Dr. Papa has worked with athletes from high school club teams to olympic trial marathoners, Concordia University’s athletic department, professional soccer players, professional skateboarders and NFL team members.
In recent years since becoming a mom to three beautiful children, Harper, Paisley and Bodhi, Dr. Sherrie has devoted time to specializing in prenatal health and pediatric health, completing a prestigious Pediatric Diplomate certification and Integrative Wellness certifications so that she can expertly help all people young, old, big, and small in meeting their wellness needs. Dr. Sherrie has also studied functional medicine with Chris Kresser and herbal medicine with Aviva Romm, MD, before being trained in the Galyardt Method in Colorado. She is Webster method certified and holds a Wellness Lifestyle Certification
Outside the office, Dr. Sherrie loves to hike, do yoga, read books and keep up with her three children.
Dr. Sherrie is excited to be a part of F8 Well Centers where we are reinventing how people in our community receive healthcare so they aren’t just stuck with a chronic diagnosis and a lifetime of medications to simply manage symptoms without ever truly making them better. Her goals are to give people the tools to get truly well and heal themselves.
